For Her Loved Ones

Updated: Sep 29, 2022

Chelsi came in to see me back in the Before Times, wondering if I could cover some burn scars she had on her right arm and shoulder. She says, "My arm piece was inspired after I was in a bonfire accident, October 20, 2013. I was in the hospital, injected with all the pain killers, but knew that I wanted a piece to cover a portion of my scars on my body.

"After my month long stint in the hospital, I had decided on the birth month flowers of everyone close to me that had helped me and was just there: my mom, my dad, my bonus mom and closest friends. By the time I got around to researching and finding THE BEST tattoo cover up/scar cover up artist around, I had also became a mom, so of course I needed to incorporate my baby in my tattoo.

"By the time I had my first appointment scheduled (October 20, 2019-- my 6 year burniversary) I was a mom twice over so I decided to add time pieces, set to the exact time my babies where born as well.

"My most recent appointment (because they are so far and few between) I had brought another tiny human into the world, so Victoria gladly added my last and final tiny humans’ birth time piece, as well as the remainder of my gray shading.

"I am so glad I didn't just jump into this tattoo and make a rash decision; instead I did my research and found the perfect artist for my piece. Victoria is amazing; I LOVE my cover up tattoo and I cannot imagine going to another person for this masterpiece!!"

Here are some pictures of the drawing, outline and gray stages ( we have yet to complete the color.)
