A Simple Lotus
Ava had a small tattoo on her left upper arm that she got on a whim and that no longer resonated with her. She was wondering if we could cover it up with a lotus; she found an image of one that she liked, altered it a bit, printed it out and brought it in for us to look at together. (I love that!) I said, "This is awesome! We can totally cover your old tattoo with this new image, almost exactly as you've got it here, as long as we use colors of dark value for the lotus-- li

"Just Float"
A little while ago Rachel emailed me, asking if I'd be available a month and a half out to do a small tattoo for her, even though she'd be coming from out of town, with a limited amount of time to fit any appointments in. "Tiny tattoos"

"I will do almost any kind of tattoo work (with some caveats), please come on back in. L

Gladioli, Sunflowers + Blue Mormon Butterfly

After reading my Cover Up Tattoo page she was thinking maybe gladiolus flowers and sunflowers might work and showed me a couple of images that she liked. And while we were looking at those she said, "Maybe some bee

Lilies + Lotus Mandala Cover Up
Arianna had an existing linework tattoo on the top of her hand and wrist, in what I call mehendi/henna style. She also had some SI scars on the inside of her forearm that were old, fairly colorless and nice and flat. Bright and articulate, she had thought about her tattoo ideas alot and had a whole plan to cover her scars and complete her sleeve. And she brought in a printout of her design ideas, which I love and always appreciate. She was thinking we could cover the scars w
