Fox + Raven

My awesome client Arri contacted me with an incredible idea for a leg sleeve tattoo: she was wondering if I'd be interested in tattooing a fox on her right leg. Of course I said, "Yasss! I've always wanted to do a fox! Plus large scale = dream tattoo!" When she came in for her initial consultation, she told me she also wanted to add a raven to the piece, "What about having the fox playing with the raven?" My jaw hit the floor = soooo much excitement! "Yes! We could have the fox leaping up your leg to meet the raven flying across your leg! This is gonna be such an incredible tattoo." We will also add some botanical elements to fill out and balance the tattoo, on our second session.

She says, "This is my third tattoo by the brilliant Victoria and one that holds deep meaning for me.

I love foxes and their quixotic nature, and ravens are an important symbol in my life. When my newest relationship partner named me their fox, and we decided to bond, this piece immediately leapt right into my heart. 

In the wild, ravens and foxes have a collaborative relationship, often assisting each other. They represent mind + instinct, strategy + perception, and observation + movement."
