Peacock Feathers, FTW

Jackie has some awesome black/gray work tattoos on both of her arms, but they didn't cover all of her scars. (Lots of tattoo artists don't know the cover up formula for tattoos. I'm glad my mentor knew it and taught me how to use it.)
When Jackie came in to see me about covering her scars, she had a couple of concepts in mind; the one I liked the best and thought would be the most effective was using peacock feathers to cover her scars and unify both arms = brilliant! She says, "In an effort to continue to work on alignment of self, as well as 'solidify', highlight, and honor the internal processes and growth that have taken place over the past 20 years, I sought out a tattoo artist who would be able to work to cover up old scars with tattoos. (This project was important to me as to honor past growth and continued commitment to personal growth in this lifetime.)
After countless hours of research and even plenty of ink along the way I finally found Victoria! Victoria is professional, thorough, kind, considerate, intuitive and aware. I am so looking forward to the finished product as well as many more art pieces in the future."
Here are some photos of the drawing process, stencil and very fresh outline stage.
